The CC CDQ is a consortium research program currently comprising ten renowned enterprises from various industries, plus the Institute for Information Management of the University of St. Gallen (IWI-HSG) as the coordinator and scientific director of the program.
CDQ (Corporate Data Quality) is an area of research dealing with the quality of corporate data. The quality oriented management of corporate data is known as CDQM (Corporate Data Quality Management).
Based on latest scientific findings the CC CDQ is developing methods, architectures, reference models, and prototypes needed for efficient implementation of CDQM in organizations. In Consortium Workshops and Bilateral Projects, participating enterprises are gaining critical know-how as to the possibilities for successful establishing and maintaining of highly effective CDQM.
In a nutshell, what is the core objective and guiding principle of the CC CDQ is the transfer of theoretical preliminary work and scientific research results into everyday organizational and business practices of enterprises.
